By Nu-Look Local

Whether you're in Bedford, Luton, Biggleswade or a village in between, here's what replacing your conservatory roof with a Nu-Look tiled roof involves, step by step.

1. Survey and quote

We visit at a time that suits you, measure up, explain your options and send a fixed-price quote within 24 hours.

2. Structural survey

If you go ahead, we carry out a full technical check of your frames, footings and brickwork and agree a start date. We also arrange building regulations approval and completion sign-off for you where needed.

3. Installation

Your old roof comes off and we aim to have the conservatory watertight within a day. The team builds a bespoke timber frame on site, fits several layers of insulation and finishes with lightweight Tapco tiles. The build usually takes 3–5 working days on average, with around 7 for larger or more extensive works.

4. Plastering and finishing

The ceiling is plastered and any electrics completed. In the vast majority of cases everything is done within two weeks. Leave the plaster two to three weeks to dry before decorating.

What you end up with

A room with a U-value of 0.14 W/m²K that you can use all year round, backed by a 10-year insurance-backed guarantee.

We cover the whole of Bedfordshire and the surrounding counties. Book your survey to get started.
